Your stay in 7 steps

• Step One: sending your medical files

You fill out the forms and send them to us, on our website under the rubric "Free consultation", with the utmost accuracy about your medical history, about the surgical operation that you intend to undergo, adding photos showing the areas to be treated.

The photos are mandatory; they allow the medical team to assess your case; the sooner they get to us, the faster your files will be considered.

The photos will be facial or showing a side view.

• Step Two: the Medical Team reply

Our team of medical doctors examines the files, and you will receive a reply within 48 hours.

If your file is accepted, this means that our doctors have accepted to give you treatment.

You will be sent the detailed medical report on the type of surgical operation to be carried out, the way it will be undertaken, as well as its cost (estimate)

The name and details of your surgeon will be sent to you, and you can get in touch with him/her by phone or through e-mail.

You can then discuss the operation details together, and thus get all your apprehensions out of the way.

If your files are not accepted, this means that the medical team has considered that you cannot undergo the proposed treatment, and we will send you a message with a brief report explaining why the treatment has been denied.

• Step Three: getting ready for the operation and your travel arrangement

A ChirurgiePro assistant will send you the checklist of blood tests and/or the X-rays to be taken.

The test results should be submitted to our medical team before your departure, and will be required the day of the operation.

In light of your availability and that of your surgeon, a date will be set for the operation, as well as the duration of your stay in Tunisia.

You will book your air ticket in accordance with the set dates.

Your airport on arrival will necessarily be "Tunis Carthage" (TUN).

With regard to hotel reservations, you can choose between different categories of our partner hotels, from 3 * to 5*, at preferential rates; you can also make your own reservations if you wish.

In that case, you should choose a hotel in Tunis, or in the northern suburb of Tunis (Gammarth, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, La Marsa, etc.).

• Step Four: Your arrival in Tunis

Upon arrival at Tunis-Carthage airport, you will be met by your assistant; she will then take you to your hotel, or straight away to your clinic, if your operation is scheduled on the day following your arrival.

She will give you a mobile/cell phone with enough airtime to make calls and a list of phone numbers that you need to call during your stay: your surgeon, your assistant, your hotel, the clinic, etc.

You can then be reached at all times by your family, friends, and our team members.

She will check to see if your files are complete (medical tests, mammographies), and then she will give you the approval sheet, a document to be signed by yourself and your doctor before the surgical operation.

She will afterwards take you for pre-surgical consultation at your surgeon's.

She will be escorting you and listening to your questions during your stay; she will guide your steps in any move you wish to take.

• Step Five: Your surgical operation

The day of your operation, your assistant will come to pick you up from your hotel and take you to the clinic.

She will make sure you have been accepted in the clinic, and will see you to your room.

There, you will be taken care of by the health care staff in order to be ready for the operation.

Your assistant will as a matter of course always available, on call, and reachable at all times during your stay at the clinic.

She will pay you visit after the operation, and will see to everything you need.

• Step Six: From the days that follow the operation and until your departure.

The day you leave the clinic(the following day or the day after depending on your doctor's advice), your assistant will accompany you to your hotel.

If your operation requires post surgical care (injections, changing bandage, etc), a nurse will come to your hotel to take care of such medical treatment.

Your doctor will see you once or twice, (even more if need be): once after the operation, and in general a second time before your departure.

All the doctor's visits are included in the cost estimate. No additional charges are required.

The day of your departure, your assistant will take you to the airport, and will make sure that everything is fine at immigration.

• Step Seven: ChirurgiePro keeps in touch with you!

Once at home, your assistant will be in contact with you through the mail, or by phone, and will follow up your recovery.

Your surgeon will be available for your care at all times.
