Breast reduction

A surgery aiming to decrease the volume of the breasts exists. It can be associated with a plasty in case of ptosis (laxity of the breasts). It preserves the function of nursing, the sensitivity and the erectile function.

The breast reduction takes place under general anaesthesia and lasts for about 2 hours.

The hospitalization is of 24 hours. The pains are insignificant and limited to the first night.
The intervention includes some perish - areola scars with the most often a vertical scar, sometimes a reverse T (for an important hypertrophy).

After the intervention, we put a bandage that will be withdrawn after 48 hours and will be replaced by a bra without armatures.

The practice of a sport activity will only be possible after 1 month.
