Peeling

‘Peeling’ comes from the English verb “to peel” which means “to skin”. The principle of this treatment is to regenerate the skin of your face in order to make it look lighter in color, to eliminate the black spots, and to reduce the number of small wrinkles … There exist 3 classes of peelings in proportion to the depth of action and therefore of their indications.

Superficial peeling:

It gives a radiating aspect to the skin. The taint is lighter and more transparent. Its active components unglue the dead cells of the surface layer of the skin and help to accelerate the cell renewal/rebirth.

This peeling is more often made up of glycol acid (up to 70%) or trichloracetic acid at weak concentration (15%). For a long-lasting action, the process must be repeated on a frequent basis, on the basis of 4 to 5 sessions over 1 or 2 months.

Superficial peeling is also known as “lunch peel” because of a virtually nonexistent social eviction. Indications: dull color of the skin, uneven skin, dilated pores, acne.

Average peeling:

The most frequently used solution is trichloracetic acid in doses of 18.20 or 25%. .

The results are all the more impressive as the aftereffects are slightly longer. One must reckon that there will be a 3 to 4 days social eviction for a TCA peeling at 18%.

This kind of peeling will enable you to renew almost completely your epidermis and superficial derma, and to remove the brown spots; it will also help you to improve the elasticity of your skin, and to soften your delicate small wrinkles.

The average peeling is totally integrated within the scheme of taking responsibility for your face, very often in association with other anti-aging techniques, like the botox® or the filling injections of hyaluronic acid.

Indications: correction of a dimmed complexion, brightening the brown spots, treatment of small, delicate, and fine wrinkles.

Deep peeling:

The deep peeling is a heavy operation but it yiels very good results.

It is carried out under special and well defined conditions. This kind of treatment requires a preparation of your skin and leads to social eviction for 10 to 15 days..

The solution to be used is the phenol.

Indications: marked wrinkles of the upper lip, of the eye contour or wrinkles of the whole face.
