For whom?

For women suffering from hypertrophy, hypotrophy or even atrophy of the big and/or small vaginal lips

Aims

The labioplasty means surgery of the big or small lips, even if we also find the name of nymphoplasty to designate specifically the small lips surgery.

• In case of hypertrophy: the lips are too thick. The thickness is due to either excessive fat or extra skin. The hypertrophy, in addition to being at times non esthetic (this may become a complex with some women, affecting their love and sexual life in a serious manner), may also cause a functional embarrassment: the lips rub against the trousers, get irritated with walking, impede sexual relations, etc…
• In case of hypotrophy or atrophy: the lips are too small, say even non-existent.  Surgery under the circumstances is essentially cosmetic; Vaginal lips that are pulpous seem to be more sensual.

Before the operation

The ideal time for undertaking vaginal surgery is just after the periods of a month. Thus, when the following comes in, the tissues will be by then already healed. If you can, just make sure that the date of your planned trip to Tunis coincides with that very moment.

If the flow of the menstrual blood had occurred before the full healing of the stitches, there wouldn’t be any worrying complications. The operation can be performed likewise but this may cause some inconvenience and increase the risk of infections.

You need no prior preparation of any special kind and you can go on having your usual sexual activity until the night before the operation.

Operation

• In case of hypertrophy of the lips: for the big lips, surgery will be a small liposuction if the problem comes from extra padding, or it may be the removal of any excessive skin, followed by stitches if the problem arises from dangling and flabby skin.
• In case of hypotrophy or atrophy of the lips: the operation is then to take fat from the patient and use it to make the lips more inflated: it is in fact a fat transplant, known also as lip filling.

Duration of the operation

On average, the labioplasty lasts one hour.

After the operation

You will simply have a bandage over the vulvas.
Very little pain is felt as a result.

Surgical after effects

In any case of labio plasty, the scars are very small and because of the excellent healing characteristics of the tissues in this area, they become hardly noticeable within a short period of time.

You can take a relative rest of 24 hours during which you can walk. The following days you may resume your usual life style and activities at a gradual pace.

21 days after the operation you can resume your sexual activities including deep penetrations.

Results

The results of a vulvas lip plasty are permanent.

Your vulvar lips will be more harmonious and pleasant to look at; you will also feel more at ease and self-confident when indulging into sexual activities and love making.

If you did not feel at ease when wearing some tight clothes, such as a bathing suit, for fear of having the shape of the lips too visible, then after a labioplasty, you will be able to wear these clothes in all peace of mind and tranquility.

Complications

If performed by a well qualified and properly trained surgeon, a labio-plasty presents very few risks. However, any surgical operation, no matter how insignificant it may be, is likely to have complications and we should think of it as a possibility.

Work interruption
