Gynecomastia

The gynecomastia aims at correcting men’s mammary excess.

It is indicated in 2 cases :

• The glandular hypertrophy : we withdraw the gland through a small semicircular incision around or through the areola. We leave a layer of 8 - 10 mm to preserve a good vitality of vascular mammary. A bandage is kept on for 5 to 8 days.
• The fatty hypertrophy : If there is a lot of fat, we make an incision under the breast to remove it, but we always leave a subcutaneous thickness of about 1 cm.

If there is little grease, a simple liposuction is made.
