The Botox is a substance produced by the purified botulinum toxin which weakens the activity of the muscles that cause the wrinkles on the top of the face (forehead, wrinkles of the lion, paws of goose).

It consists of an intra muscular injection of the product without previous anaesthesia.
The toxin weakens the strength of the muscular contraction, causing the wrinkle.
This muscular relaxation appears progressively within one week. Two injections are usually recommended every year.
