People coming with you :

For your travel, you can choose to travel alone or with other adults and children. The clinic has double rooms with two separate beds; you can therefore share the room with another adult companion. There is an option of adding another bed for 1 child.

• Our advice is: if you travel with an adult companion, make him/her share your room at the clinic.

Holiday period:

Tunisia is a very touristic country; flights and hotels are often full in summer, and during the school holiday periods.

• Our advice is: if you wish to have your operation during the month of August, or during Easter or Toussaint holidays, you must make the necessary arrangements at least 2 months in advance to secure a room at a hotel, and book your flight at a reasonable price. The earlier you make your hotel and flight reservations, the cheaper the cost is.

Formalities: Passport, Visa.

You need to have a valid passport to come to Tunisia. Only EU citizens with a voucher may enter Tunisia showing your identity card. The voucher is a pre-paid reservation at a hotel.

• Our advice is: if you have a passport, make sure that it is valid before your travel. If you do not have a passport, contact our consultants for more details on the procedure of getting a voucher.

Climate:

Tunisia has a Mediterranean climate, mild in winter and warm / hot in summer.

The months of July and August are the hottest of the year, with highs reaching 35 degrees celcius. You must know that in summer, everything is air-conditioned: the cars, the clinic, the hotel, the restaurants, etc. if you wish to come during that period, remember that you are not going to suffer from heat.

Winters are fairly mild with lows rarely below 10º C.

• Our advice is: if you come in summer, bring very light clothes with you. In winter even though the temperature is milder than in Europe, we recommend that you bring clothes that are nevertheless warm, as the air is very humid, and the cold will be severely felt.
