Abdominoplasty

Following pregnancies or excessive over weights, the stomach suffers from significant distortion : distension of the skin, stria, scars. A liposuction won’t be enough so we resort to abdominoplasty. It is a procedure that corrects the skin and fat surplus, and the muscular hypertrophy.
The intervention accomplishes a facelift of the stomach, with replacement of the navel and a low horizontal incision of 30 to 40 cm.

For a less important abdominoplasty, the incision is shorter (about twenty centimetres above the pubis).
The operation lasts two hours. It occurs under general anaesthesia. The hospitalization lasts for about 48 hours.

A moderate activity is to be envisaged for 10 - 15 days. The results are visible within 3 weeks : they are fantastic because the intervention consists in a remodelling and a surgical readjustment of the silhouette.
